Seersucker travels well. Here’s proof: Frederic Sebton, a Swedish advertising executive, has been living large in NOLA this week, all thanks to the jaunty way he put together a seersucker outfit to wear to the Cannes Film Festival last May.

Stuff in my suitcase: unlined Deerskin work gloves. I already have several super expensive Peccary (pigskin) gloves, these make a nice addition to my collection. $19.95 at Pop’s Popular Clothing.
Lee of Brennan’s preparing Bananas Foster for us. We had to go back to the hotel and sleep it off.
